Every solo healthcare professional works two shifts. The first is the one she chose: caring for people. The second, no one chooses — answering the same WhatsApp questions between sessions, rescheduling no-shows, sending reminders, chasing late payments.
Ligia was created to put an end to the second shift. Not with yet another app to learn, but with what has always solved this problem: a receptionist.
What Ligia is
Ligia is an AI-powered virtual assistant that works through WhatsApp, built for solo healthcare professionals — psychologists, nutritionists, physiotherapists and other specialties. She answers patients any time, books appointments by checking the real calendar, sends confirmations and reminders, and handles the billing no one likes to do.
And here's something we make a point of saying clearly: yes, Ligia is artificial intelligence. But she never works alone. Behind her is a human team that sets everything up together with the professional, stays close through the first days, and remains available whenever needed. Technology serves; people ensure.
She also knows her own limits: Ligia organizes, informs and schedules — she does not give health advice. Faced with any clinical question or sensitive situation, she receives the patient with care and immediately calls the professional.

We are a lean and dedicated team based in Curitiba: a founder who experienced first-hand what it means to run a solo practice, customer success specialists who personally guide each onboarding journey, engineers who build Ligia with the precision a clinic demands, and a design and content team that ensures she speaks the language of each specialty.
